Exodus 12:12-14

¹² And ^(A)I will go through the land of Egypt on that night and will strike down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and ^(B)against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments—^(C)I am Yahweh. ^13 (D)And the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and I will see the blood, and I will pass over you, and there shall be no plague among you ^[a]to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

¹⁴ ‘Now ^(E)this day will be ^(F)a memorial to you, and you shall celebrate it as a feast to Yahweh; throughout your generations you are to celebrate it as ^[b](G)a perpetual statute.
